Ridge-Meadows RCMP CITIZENS ON PATROL

The Citizens on Patrol program includes over 60 community participants of the Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows area that observe and report activities or situations that seem suspicious, or that may include a criminal element. RCMP Citizens on Patrol program is an organization West Coast Mazda is proud to support.

This program has aided in a reduction of crime as well as actively involving numerous citizens in the safety of their community. For 10 years,  West Coast Mazda has supported the RCMP Citizens on Patrol program and looks forward many more years of ensuring a safer community.

Volunteers can be assured they will not be in direct contact with offenders, and will be provided with a marked vehicle or able to take their own. They will also be equipped with radios that are in contact with the local police station. Citizens On Patrol are also active participants in ICBC's Stolen Auto Recovery Program.

If you are interested in volunteering for the RCMP Citizens on Patrol program please contact Charlene Hargreaves - Volunteer Coordinator at (604) 467-7644.
